Software Project Quality Engineer

Now we’re looking for a “Software Project Quality Engineer” to join our Product Team at a leading disruptor in the bar tech landscape, as recognized by CB Insights.
Skills and Experience:
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related field
2+ years of work experience in software quality assurance
Good understanding of software QA methodologies and processes
Experience in writing clear and comprehensive test plans and acceptance criteria
Hands-on experience with black box testing
Hands-on Experience in SQL
Experience working in an Agile development process
Experience with any scripting language is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Passionate about automating repetitive tasks
Collaborative in domains outside of expertise
Clear focus, passion for continuous learning and dedication to ship high quality products in a fast paced and ambitious environment
Key Responsibilities
Create acceptance criteria for software tasks
Test software tasks during the sprints
Analyze and document defects/bugs in the software products
Evaluating new requirements with the product team
Ensure that software team members are kept informed of progress, and stay aligned to the project goals
Work closely with the software engineering team to improve software products
Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements
Prioritizing team cooperation
